Sparkly Crochet Shrug

Standard

ImageImageImageImageImage

So, I finished this Sparkly Crochet Shrug this weekend!

Now, I modeled it for my parents and they didn’t understand what it was. They said, “It looks like something only you would wear…”

Uhm. So I’d really like some feedback on this shrug. Is it lame? Do other people wear things like this?

Now I’m really nervous and feel silly for making it. XD

I made this shrug for when it warms up so I could throw it over tank tops and at least add some modesty for work.

Help me feel better about this?

Crochet Shawl, Crochet Shurg, Crochet Cardigan?

Standard

So, I bought 4 skeins of light weight yarn recently to make a shawl. I ended up making that shawl with 3 1/2 skeins left. I didn’t realize how much yarn was actually in those skeins. They are deceptive little things! So, I made a crochet shrug for myself with the same yarn. (Pictures coming soon) After that, I still have 2 1/2 skeins left! XD So now I’m thinking about making a cardigan for myself of some sort of crochet top. I think it will be silly once I’m through though, having three different articles of clothing in the same yarn. XD
